Hello everyone. Since 2007 we have been using the RtI model in our school for reading instruction. For 5 years now we have grown from K-3 to K-8. In anticipation of year 6 I have decided to dedicate this year to new ideas. RtI morphs as years go by. We change with the needs of our students. This year I would like to share bits of information and ideas that we use to help our "munchkins" grow as readers. By reading this blog you will get tips on assessment, diagnosis, needs based grouping, activities, incentives, scientific based materials and more.
I am very excited about trying this new little honey. We are constantly looking for new ways to do the alphabet arc. I am headed to the store for cookie sheets. :)
